Ceremonies to Remember our Pets

Honoring a Unique Bond

The loss of a pet can be a source of profound grief, yet society doesn’t always provide a formal outlet to honour the paw prints they leave on our hearts. I provide a dedicated ceremony designed to hold that grief, celebrate the life of your companion, and acknowledge the deep bond you shared.

Creative Rituals
Every pet has a unique personality—the way they greeted you at the door, their quiet companionship, or their mischievous streaks. I design deeply personal ceremonies centered around your pet’s story. Whether you prefer an intimate gathering with just your family or a larger circle including friends, neighbours, and your local dog-walker, we will create something meaningful. I offer a suite of rituals to choose from, or we can co-create a bespoke tribute that feels just right for your pet.

Timing and Space
While the practical arrangements (such as cremation or burial) are typically handled by specialist providers, my focus is entirely on the memorial service itself.

Often, it is beneficial to allow a little time—days or even weeks—to pass before holding a ceremony. This space allows you to process the new “quiet” of the house and gather fond memories without being completely overwhelmed. It also gives you the opportunity to say a proper, unhurried goodbye if the immediate aftermath of your pet’s passing felt rushed or clinical.

Location
I am happy to lead the ceremony in a location of your choice. This is often in the family garden, a favourite park, or the comfort of your own living room—wherever your pet felt most at home.
